I came here on a Saturday night and my party & I were seated immediately for hibachi. I have to say the food is very affordable for hibachi. I've been to way more expensive hibachi restaurants. I overall had a great experience here. The food came out quickly and it tasted delicious. I had the steak and shrimp hibachi which was phenomenal. I was a little disappointed with the fried rice, I feel like it was tasteless but everything else was delicious. The service was also a bit slow for clearing the table, we had no room for our plate of hibachi food because they didn't pick up the appetizer plates and soup/salad in a timely manner. But I will definitely come back here, had a great time!

Very delicious food. The service is great. And cooks are funny and friendly. The food portion is more then Enough.

Came here on a Tuesday night to celebrate birthday. Sat immediately but waited a while for chef to arrive for hibachi. It was only our party so was able to request less sodium in food, which chef happily obliged (but food was still kind of salty). Chef was really nice, portions were generous, show was pretty fun. Had a great time and would go back!

Seated immediately on a Tuesday night. Lots of booth seating and spots for larger groups, too. We spent $165 for two adult hibachi meals and three kid versions. We also ordered two basic sushi rolls (sweet potato and the shrimp tempura). It was a fair price. Large portions. Great show and humor. Chef was wonderful. Other service was just okay. No clearing soups and sushi plates, no refilling drinks, no asking if we needed anything else/ seeing how things were. Tip (18%)for our party of 5 was automatically included in the bill.

I just love Otaiko .. they have a happy hour and a great bar area with great service and the hibachi is always a great time. I've never once had a meal I didn't like at this place. The food and decor really lean into cultural custom and the authenticity can't be duplicated. This is not" a P.F. Chang's" , it's better !

I been here a couple of times for the Hibachi and it's pretty cool. My kids were scared but the food was very good. Place feels welcomed. The drinks are a little strong but overall good food.

Great hidden gem in Bayonne. They offer a great hibachi show but the real showstoppers are the sushi rolls. Great martinis and fantastic happy hour options. In a giant strip mall so plenty of parking, and located right on the walking path overlooking the bay which provides a nice way to walk off the calories afterward. They also offer outside dining during the summer which is great and it's a very clean, nice environment.
